In February, Click Akaushi Beef ran an advertising campaign that pledged a ground beef donation to the Burnet County Hunger Alliance (BCHA) based on purchases made from our website.  Thanks to the wonderful response and generosity from so many of our customers, we were able to make a significant delivery to the Alliance.

The Burnet County Food Alliance provided the following…

The Helping Center of Marble Falls wishes to extend a warm thank you to Click Akaushi Beef of Llano, Texas for its generous donation of ground beef in early March.  The beef was donated as part of a Super Bowl ad campaign that the beef company ran on its website and through the generosity of its customers.  A special cooking demonstration was held on March 17th as a part of The Helping Center’s LEARN for LIFE Program.

Using Click beef, representatives of THC provided samples of tasty meatloaf to clients, along with free ingredients, loaf pans, and recipe cards.  Clients were thrilled and delighted to receive these gifts and continue to select Click beef as a part of their food pantry shopping.

Sam Pearce, executive director of THC, stated, “Large donations of food are an incredibly important part of our mission.  We sincerely appreciate the significant contributions made by Steve and DeeDee Massey over the past few years.  Click Akaushi Beef is lean and heart-healthy, and we are honored to be able to provide it to our clients.”

We are humbled by the impact that this contribution made and look forward to supporting to the incredible mission that the Burnet County Hunger Alliance undertakes every day to end hunger in Burnet county.

Thank you to Mr. Pearce and his team for all you do for our community!
